Description: This species is native to North America and can be a great fish to use in a native community tank. These fish are small and slender and have a very low bioload. The fish is colored black silver and green, but a golden variety is also becoming available.

Breeding Information: The Least Killifish is a prolific breeder. If you mix males and females they will reproduce. While the least killifish will eat fry, it is not particularly good at catching the fry.
Sexing Information: Females tend to be larger and rounder. Males have longer gonopodiums.
