Description: The False Blochi Catfish is large for a cory catfish, but still small in comparison to many catfish species. This tends to be a hardy species and is a little tougher than some of the other Corydoras species. As with all corydoras species, be sure to provide substrate that is smooth to avoid damage to the barbels.

Breeding Information: Breding is similar to other species of Corydoras. These fish spawn in the winter months so large water changes that are slightly cooler (1-2 degrees) may induce spawning.
Sexing Information: Females tend to be longer and have greater girth.
Diet: Omnivorous - does well with sinkin flake or pellet foods of the appropriate size.
Temperment: Peaceful shoaling fish
Common Diseases: None specific to species, but watch for damage or wear to the barbels.
